What is a seedbox?

A seedbox is a remote server at a high-speed data center with a public dedicated IP address that is used to safely downloading and uploading files using torrents at very high speeds. These speeds range from 1Gbps (12MB/s) to 10Gbps (1250MB/s). People with access to a Seedbox can download these files to their personal computers anonymously with their own maximum speed. Simply put, you get a share of a computer that has a super fast internet connection. The sole function of this computer is to download and upload torrents. There are numerous benefits to downloading torrents using a seedbox.

How do I manage my seedbox?

Each Seedbox has one or more torrent clients with web user interface that you can log into via any browser where you can control your Seedbox remotely. In the interface, you can load torrent files or torrent URLs and once loaded they will start downloading immediately and will seed the torrent afterward, once again, remotely with no tracks to the local desktop IP of the Seedbox user. Once the torrent has downloaded on the Seedbox, it’s hosted there waiting for you to download it whenever you wish. Downloading is commonly done via an FTP or SFTP connection to the Seedbox using an FTP Client, SSH/SCP, Browser Download , or using Resilio Sync. Either way, this prevents any torrent traffic from coming from your home internet connection but instead, you only initiate legitimate FTP/HTTP traffic that your ISP (Internet Service Provider) should permit.

How long does it take for my account to be set up after signing up?

Your account will be activated in the shortest possible term. Usually, it takes around one hour for your account to be fully activated. As soon as you receive account info on the email address you used during order you will be able to enjoy and manage your new Virtual Private Server.

Do you offer managed seedbox and Dedicated Servers?

We offer unmanaged seedbox servers. Therefore, you are in charge of managing your seedbox.

How much can I host from my seedbox?

There is no limit to how many services, domains, or applications you can run from a Giga seedbox server. You need to make sure you allocate enough resources to deal with the services you expect to provide.

How do you back up data?

Specific nature of seedbox services requires that you need to set up and manage backups yourself. You get full access and privileges to back up your data yourself.

Do you offer Windows?

Yes, we offer the full range of Windows versions, including Windows 2008 R2 and Windows 2012 R2.

Do you offer Linux?

Yes, current available distributions are CentOS with preinstalled cPanel, Debian, Ubuntu, Fedora. We also offer FreeBSD.

What if I want to change my OS?

At any time you can create a new seedbox from any of our templates. With Giga seedbox Services you can install and configure independent OS on every virtual server. You can purchase both operating systems according to your needs and still be on the same physical server. In this way, we contribute to reducing your operating costs and hosting expenditure.

Do you have Money Back Guarantee?

We offer a 7 day money back guarantee. We will refund your money within 7 days of your purchase only if our service does not work for you or you are not satisfied with it. This rule is legitimated by fair usage policy since there are many customers who try to use services for a couple of days and then try to refund money and do the same with next seedbox provider.
